Amira-Géhanne Khalfallah is an Algerian writer, director and journalist. Author of several plays including a tragic farce, Les Draps (La Marelle Éditions, 2015), translated into English and published in the United States in The Mercurian. She is also a novelist(The Shipwreck of the Moon, Barzakh,2018) and associate author of Écris-moi un mouton,a trilogy on the traces left by the Algerian war. She has written and directed two short films selected in many international festivals including the Berlinale, where she received the Special Mention of the jury for Petite.
