In charge of actions in schools
Sociologist by training, I threw myself body and soul into the exciting profession of teacher-documentalist, 21 years in college then 5 in vocational high school, before turning to the training of trainers at the rectorate of Nancy-Metz. I really liked, in the field, to promote open-mindedness in our students through many cultural projects, especially around reading. With also the pleasure of welcoming, in this context, several youth authors. I naturally joined the Zinc Grenadine association, which organizes the Children’s Book Festival every year in Epinal. In the wake I took charge – for 5 years – the organization of meetings of authors, in schools and colleges, in the Vosges and Meurthe-et-Moselle. I was ready to join the Diwan team and prepare the “Livres d’Ailleurs-édition Afrique” fair, and in particular the school meetings.
