Didier Kassaï is an illustrator, watercolourist and caricaturist. He worked for the newspapers Baptist Mid-Mission and Le Perroquet. He is the winner of the Africa e Mediterraneo prize for his album Azinda and forced marriage,and winner of the Vues d'Afrique competition at the Angoulême Comic Strip Festival (2006). He participated in the collective album À l'ombre du baobab,published by Équilibres et populations (2000). A trainer in comic book design, he has been collaborating since 2005 on the Educa 2000 project in Bangui (Central African Republic).
